It’s not okay if:

 

  1. It’s not okay if any member of the university humiliates you or abuses their authority.
  2. It’s not okay if you are discriminated against because of your sexual orientation.
  3. It’s not okay if you are discriminated against because of your religious affiliations, country of origin, or accent. 
  4. It’s not okay if you are assaulted either verbally or physically, online or offline, especially if it is a repeated action. 
  5. It’s not okay if you receive sexist comments, regardless of your gender.
  6. It’s not okay if you are involuntarily placed in an uncomfortable situation, or  malicious rumours are spread about you.
  7. It’s not okay if you are discriminated against because of your gender identity, or if they intentionally refer to you with incorrect words or pronouns.
  8. It’s not okay if you are physically assaulted by any member of the university.
  9. It’s not okay if you receive either positive or negative bias. 

 

If any of the above mentioned points apply to your current or past experiences, or if you witnessed atrocities like these either in private or public, don’t be afraid to ask for help from the Student Council or the Ethical Committee of ELTE BTK!
